INTRODUCTION:
When I first wrote this song, I didn’t play it at any shows. I thought people wouldn’t want to hear it, because it wasn’t typical "pop". On a whim, I performed it at a small show, and much to my surprise, everyone loved it. Screw what’s “normal”!
LYRICS:
Verse 1: I can’t get rid of this feeling.
My head is reeling.
I try to get you off my mind.
I close my eyes, but you’re all I can find.
CHORUS: I don’t want to fall in love,
And I’m not ready to give up.
Too much to do while I’m on my own.
Too much to see when I’m alone.
I gotta find myself, before I find anyone else,
I don’t want to fall in love.
Verse 2: You don’t know what you’re doing to me.
Do you even see?
Ooh, you’re pushing me too far.
Who do you think you are?
CHORUS: I don’t want to fall in love,
And I’m not ready to give up.
Too much to do while I’m on my own.
Too much to see when I’m alone.
I gotta find myself, before I find anyone else,
I don’t want to fall in love.
I don’t want to fall in love.
